Latest blog: Yep, I
jus bought Wolfcraft's "Undercover Jig"
which I hope will act as an clamp with wooden plugs, when assembling
furniture bigger than usual or other things from wood which need more
than ordinary 80cm (31,5") long clamps to assemble.I bought it from Clas Ohlson. I paid an 26,90€ which was an sale-price. While the normal price was 44,90€. There are some very anoying features in it's design.-It has custom-made drill dia.9,5mm to pre-drill and sink the screw at the same time. It can be very expensive to buy a new one! -Wooden plugs has allso the diameter of 9,5mm which is not the standard 10mm. So I have to buy custom-made plugs. That allso can be quite expensive! -Screws seems to be of an normal size and look. Why couldn't they stick into those normal and easily available shapes and sizes!? Maybe they just couldn't it might be just that they want to gain more profit from selling special spare- parts! |
